ECA offers a comprehensive preparatory program in music.
Our curriculum is designed to nurture well-rounded, informed, responsive, disciplined, and creative musicians.
Immersed in a community of young artists who challenge and support one another, ECA musicians develop empathy, communication, and collaborative skills. They recognize and uplift diverse perspectives as they share ideas, take risks, and develop their artistic voice.
Curriculum
The ECA Music Department offers high school musicians immersion in a comprehensive music program which includes coursework in music theory, musicianship, composition, audio production & engineering, instrumental & vocal technique, as well as experience in both small and large performing ensembles.
The curricular program is enriched by partnerships with local arts organizations, guest artists, collaborations with other ECA departments, and performance opportunities in local, regional, & national music festivals.
